About the author.
Michael Mellon is an appellate attorney practicing in New Jersey. He attended Rutgers-Camden School of Law, where he was a member of the Journal of Law and Public Policy. In 2015, he was admitted to the bars of New Jersey and Pennsylvania. He has since been admitted to the District Court of New Jersey and the Third Circuit Court of Appeals. Michael has briefed to, and appeared in, all levels of state court in New Jersey. He has also participated in briefing to the United States Supreme Court. He has published scholarship in the areas of public policy and the intersection of law and technology. In addition to practicing as an appellate attorney, Michael is a part-time student at Drexel University’s Thomas R. Kline School of law, where he is enrolled in the cyber law and data privacy LLM program.
